My love of Ayurvedic healing started a decade ago when I read “Perfect Health” by Deepak Chopra

It was the first time I was exposed to the idea of ‘bio-individuality’. Of course that’s not the point of the book. Ayurvedic simply explains that what is good for one isn’t good for another. That resonated with me and I tried incorporating it into my life in little ways. My love of sesame oil is a direct result of reading that book!

Ayurvedic Classification breaks down like this:

There are 3 main body types. These are called Doshas.

They are: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

I hear you asking “how do I know what my Dosha is?” Well head over to DOSHAQUIZ.CHOPRA.COM You don’t have to enter your email if you don’t want to but you’ll get a quick answer to that very question!

This will give you the basics. If you’d like to delve deeper I’d love to help you!

I’ve spent 3 months researching, testing, and making this Cleanse just for YOU! I’m SOOO excited for you to do this cleanse!!!

Why Choose an Ayurvedic Cleanse?

  • It’s a good old fashioned detox party! It’s a REALLY good old fashioned detox party!

Ayurvedic Healing has been around for 5,000 years! If you want to talk about going back to the source this is definitely one of the sources.

  • You have to eat butter.

Yep, it sounds crazy that a cleanse would actually require you to eat butter, but in this case you start your day with a spoonful of Ghee, clarified butter.

  • There is no starving yourself.

This isn’t a juice cleanse, or a cayanne and maple syrup cleanse. You eat three meals a day.

  • You have to lavish yourself with love!

You are actually required to take time for yourself everyday. An oil self massage, and at home spa treatments will be part of your daily ritual.

The benefits of an Ayurvedic Cleanse

  • First off detoxing is something we must do regularly.

A healthy cleanse (as opposed to something drastic and unhealthy) for the body is something we have forgotten in western society. Just like spring cleaning your home, you should spring clean yourself!

  • Regardless of where you live or how organically you eat our planet is polluted.

The air you breath isn’t the pure clean air that once circled the Earth. Yet, this cleanse has been around long before this pollution encompassed the globe showing us just how essential it is to cleanse, no matter who you are.

  • Ayurveda explains that everyone has Angi, or Digestive Fire.

This digestive fire digests more than just your food. It acts just like your digestive process breaking down your environment, social activity, your emotions and thoughts as well as everything your senses perceive. These eventually get overwhelming to your body and get backed up. These built up toxins keep your body from digesting new information and food.

  • You need to rest and reset your Angi

This cleanse is how you do that. By following this cleanse for 3 days up to 7 you reset your Angi and stoke the flame to help burn thru excess toxins and clear the pipes. The metaphysical pipes as well as the actual pipes.

  • Clear your mind

Releasing the toxins causing that brian fog, fatigue, apathy… this cleanse will help clear that all away leaving you feeling lighter, calmer and focused.

  • Weight loss

Like any cleanse you will experience weight loss from excess toxins and water being expelled from the body.

The Basics:

You will be eating a combination of veggies, rice and beans. Drinking Ghee and tea. Practicing simple yoga stretches and meditating daily. Finally self care such as tongue scraping, oil pulling, and oil massage will be part of your routine.

Pick 3 – 7 days where you have a lighter schedule. Or make room in your schedule for YOU. This isn’t asking a lot. You’re not required to stay home all day, you can still go to work -if you can’t swing a 3 day weekend. I do ask that you take a social break. This is you time, not everyone else time.
